He commenced his professional career as an Engineer within Telstra and at the age of 29 took on the role of GM Operator Services in Qld, with a staff compliment of 1200.

Having a passion for leading and developing people, Carmelo moved into the recruitment sector in 1991. In the last 20 years he has recruited across Executive, Engineering, Construction, Manufacturing, Operations & Maintenance, Banking & Finance and IT sectors.

Carmelo is a founding partner of CMLpartners Executive Search and is also currently the owner and CEO of Nizza Recruitment Services, Asia P/L, with head office in Singapore.
